Osho’s 'controversial and sassy ex-secretary' Ma Anand Sheela seeks redemption in Netflix's 'Searching For Sheela' Trailer

Ma Anand Sheela, secretary of the late godman Bhagwan Rajneesh, popularly known as Osho, returned to India after 34 years in 2019. She also had an interaction with Karan Johar whose Dharmatic Entertainment is producing her documentary for Netflix. She was the personal secretary of Bhagwan Rajneesh from 1980 to 1985. She is credited with the creation of the Rajneesh Commune and Rajneeshpuram. 

Ma Anand Sheela is now the subject of an in-production Netflix documentary. This Netflix special will give a personal insight into the controversial life of Ma Anand Sheela. Netflix has now dropped the trailer of the documentary titled Searching For SheelaSearching for Sheela is an intimate look into Ma Anand Sheela's journey across India, observing the rebranding of her as a pop-culture icon, with audiences unable to decide if they deem her a 'criminal' or remain in awe of her badass secretary days.
