The first season of Indian Matchmaking on Netflix had polarised views. While some loved it for the entertainment quotient, some slammed the show for its regressive approach toward marriage. Now, Indian Matchmaking has been renewed for the second season. Sima Taparia, the matchmaker, will return on August 10 on Netflix.
The trailer of Indian Matchmaking season 2 was released on Thursday. In the 8 episodes show, the premier matchmaker Sima Taparia will be helping single millennials around the globe find their perfect match. The wishlist of her clients in this season range from man-buns, to an “ovo-Lacto-semi-vegetarian” diet and much more.
Indian Matchmaking 2 is produced by Industrial Media’s The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), LLC. Executive producers are Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman, Smriti Mundhra, and J.C. Begley.
