Apart from this, questions have also been raised on her presence in a condom advertisement.

The complaint also states that these contents have a negative impact on the youth and it spreads a wrong message in the society. On the instructions of the court, the police have registered a case under the Obscenity Prohibition Act and the IT Act. Shweta Menon, who has been nominated for the National Award, has been in controversies before too. In 2013, the news of alleged misbehavior with her during a public event made a lot of headlines.
