The shooting of Ranveer Singh's action film Dhurandhar is going on in full swing these days in Leh district of Ladakh. But on Sunday, August 17, a big accident suddenly happened on the set. According to the information, about 120 members of the shooting unit fell ill simultaneously. In the initial investigation, this case seems to be food poisoning, although official confirmation is awaited.

This incident happened in Patthar Sahib area of Leh, where an important sequence of the film was being shot. Food was served to everyone by the local caterer in the middle of the shooting. It is being said that about 600 people ate the food, out of which the condition of 120 deteriorated. After complaining of vomiting, dizziness and stomach ache, everyone was immediately given first aid.

As soon as the incident was reported, a team of Leh Police, District Administration and Food Safety Department reached the spot. Officials have collected food samples and sent them for testing and interrogation of the contractor has also started. The administration says that strict action will be taken against those who are negligent.

Ranveer Singh was also present on the set at the time of the incident, but according to sources, he had not eaten food, due to which he was not affected. Other actors associated with the film, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Akshaye Khanna were not present at the shooting, so they are also safe. However, due to this incident, the shooting of the film has been temporarily halted.

Dhurandhar is a high-octane spy thriller, directed by Uri fame Aditya Dhar. In the film, Ranveer Singh will be seen as a spy who grapples with political intrigues, national security and personal conflicts. Seeing Ranveer's intense and raw look in the recently released teaser has increased the curiosity of the audience. The film was scheduled to release on 5 December 2025. But now with the shooting halted and the administrative investigations initiated, the release date is in doubt.
