Sonam Kapoor Ahuja decodes some easy tips for glowing and radiant summer skin

With summer right around the corner, a clear skin is what we all desire. Luckily, Bollywood’s in-house fashionista, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, along with Vanity Fair, gave her top tips for summer. In an episode of Vanity Vignettes, the diva shared her top 3 simple and easy-to-practice tips for a healthy skin.

The number one tip the actress shared was drinking lots of water. Keeping hydrated is a must, especially during the summer months, for not only the well-being of your skin but also your overall physical and mental health. She spoke about the importance of drinking water in order to avoid dehydration and to stay fresh with the chant, “Hydrate yourself. Hydrate yourself. For her second tip she emphasized the consumption of healthy fatty acids like omega-3s. The actress listed out a few foods, rich in omega 3, with vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian options such as nuts, seeds (such as flax seeds, chia seeds, etc.), fish, vegetable oils like olive oil, sunflower oil, etc. respectively.

The third tip that the diva shared was the importance of incorporating fibre into your regular diet. Vegetables and fruits, especially the fruits that are low in sugar, and lots of salads are good for the skin. Fibres help maintain a clean system and eliminates toxic waste from the body that shows on your skin.
