After Tommy Hilfiger, Nike donates 30,000 pair of shoes to frontline healthcare workers battling against COVID-19

The outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic has put the frontline healthcare workers on their toes, quite literally. And thus, the American footwear brand Nike has stepped up to make their hustle and bustle a bit comfortable.

To show their solidarity and aid in the battle against this global pandemic, Nike is all set to donate 30,000 pairs of shoes to the frontline health-care workers.

The athlete apparel brand has announced to donate pairs of Nike Air Zoom Plus, launched in November. These sport sneaks would be distributed in the healthcare facilities and hospitals in Chicago, Los Angeles, Memphis, and New York City, according to its statement. In addition, 2,500 pairs are being donated to hospitals across Europe, including Barcelona, Berlin, London, Milan, Paris and Belgium.

The donations of these sports sneaks will be administered by its long-time Non-Profit partner Good360. Apart from the comfy sneakers, Nike has also donated 1100 sportswear kits that include a drawstring bag, water bottle, hat or headband, and socks to the healthcare workers in NYC.
