COVID-19: Tommy Hilfiger donates 10,000 white shirts to health-care workers to aid the battle against global pandemic

The ongoing battle of COVID-19 has brought the world to a standstill. Many of our health-care workers have been fighting the wrath of this pandemic on the frontlines for months, tirelessly.

Contributing its bit in this ‘war against virus’, international label Tommy Hilfiger has donated 10,000 white t-shirts to the health-care workers in the United States and Europe.

The initiative taken by the designer aims to aid the healthcare heroes who treat COVID-19 patients. As their personal safety equipment tends to get warm quickly, it causes them to change clothes at least thrice a day.

Furthermore, the international label aims to launch a capsule collection as a token of solidarity towards those who are battling this global crisis on the frontlines. All set to launch in May, this collection will include limited edition classic white tee and sweatshirts with 100 percent of its proceeds going to global COVID-19 Relief Funds.

The T-shirts will be available in the selected European markets for 49.90 Euros while sweatshirts would be sold for 99.90 Euros.
