PeepingMoon Exclusive: 'ExtraordiNari' Uorfi Javed explains the need to 'copy' and get 'inspired' by designer creations!

Urfi or Uorfi Javed is known to be a DIY princess. Be it bottle cans to paper mesh, she has created outfits with possibly everything that's easily accessible but unconventional materials. A couple of months ago, she drew attention for recreating Kendal Jenner and Bella Hadid's looks on the streets of Mumbai. Urfi also made it to Diet Sabya's popular Instagram page.

In the finale episode of PeepingMoon's Women's Day special series titled ExtraordiNari, Urfi spoke about the idea behind recreating those looks and there's no harm in being inspired by other celebrities. "I didn't know we cannot copy those designs. Coming from a small town, we would watch actresses on TV and get identical clothes stitched so I thought it was normal. I didn't know people would call me out for it. Gradually, I educated myself about it. But, doesn't everyone get inspired by celebrities?"

She further added, "Nakal ke liye bhi akkal chahiye. It isn't easy to make DIY clothes like these. You need to know techniques and have an understanding of fabrics too."

Did y'all get inspired by any of Urfi's outfits?
