Amazon Prime Video's upcoming web series Jack Ryan is already carrying high buzz among the audience. Jack Ryan series is the onscreen adaptation of Tom Clancy's most famous character of the same name.
The character written by Tom serves as a full-time CIA analyst and an intermittent field officer. John Krasinski is playing the title role in the series and he seems to have nailed it.
A BTS video of this upcoming Prime Original is out now on YouTube and it promises nothing but authenticity. Tom Clancy's work has always been loved by the readers for the deep details and authenticity and now that his character is being adapted in the form of a series, it must look real too. Thousands of ammunition, heavy artillery, pistols, machine guns, rifles and more were used under an expert team. The wardrobe, the props, and the armour were also kept real to make the show look as raw and genuine as possible.
Former Navy SEAL Officer, Kevin Kent and professional film armourer, Natalia Lee have worked as military tech advisors on the show. It was a real challenge to keep the things under control and still make it look real and the team has done it. At no point, you feel like watching a small screen show.
Talking about the massive scale of the show, John Krasnski said, “I don’t know if there is any way to categorize what we are working on, it is so massive. It definitely doesn’t feel like television."
Written and created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland in association with Amazon Prime Video, Jack Ryan is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 31st August 2018. Watch the video below-
