Fandom wars: Gangs beats up Prabhas fan in Bengaluru during physical altercation, force him to chant 'Jai Allu Arjun'

It goes without saying that down South, the craze for movie stars is unmatched. From building temples for celebrities to celebrating film releases like festivals, the energy is different. However, at times, fan wars can be troublesome. Recently, fans of two popular stars from the Telugu film fraternity got engaged in a massive fight.

According to a viral video, fans of Allu Arjun had a physical altercation with a Prabhas supporter during a match in Bengaluru. The gang forced the person to chant 'Jai Allu Arjun'. Bengaluru Police had to intervene. Replying to a tweet, they informed, "We have informed to @krpurambcpps for necessary action."

Allu Arjun and Prabhas' teams are yet to react to the incident. The incident has sparked a negative trend on social media against craze and unruly fans and gangs supporting celebrities blindly.

Workwise, Allu Arjun's next film is Pushpa 2: The Rule which will release on Independence Day 2024. He is also teaming up with Sandeep Vanga. On the other hand, Prabhas has Kalki 2898 AD, Spirit and Salaar 2.
