Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home gets an early release date in India than US, film to hit theatres a day prior on December 16

Sony and Marvel Studios’ next release is the highly-anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home, the threequel of MCU’s Spider-Man franchise with Tom Holland playing the web-slinger aka Peter parker along with Zendaya. The film also stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr.Strange. Spider-Man: No Way Home has already got fans brimming with excitement after the trailer release and various leaks, now the makers have upped the ante by bringing the India release date of the film closer. The film will hit theatres one day earlier than in the US on December 16 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The makers took to social media to announce the India release date of the film. They wrote, “We have some exciting news for all the Spider-Man & Marvel fans! Our favourite superhero will be swinging in one day earlier than the US! Catch #SpiderManNoWayHome on December 16 in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home also stars Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove and Benedict Wong. Meanwhile, it marks the return of previous spidey universe villain actors Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans. It is also speculated that previous Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also be seen in the film. It is also rumoured to feature Charlie Cox, the Matt Murdock/Daredevil actor, as Peter Parker's lawyer.

The upcoming superhero film is directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers and co-produced by Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures and Pascal Pictures. The film will hit Indian theatres one day earlier now, on December 16 while it is releasing on the 17th in the USA.
