Peeping Moon Exclusive : Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s dance ‘War’ begins tomorrow

The stage is set for a grand cinematic moment as ‘War 2’ enters its final leg of filming. PeepingMoon.com has learned that Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, two of India's most celebrated actor-dancers, will begin shooting for the Ayan Mukerji espionage thriller’s anticipated dance battle tomorrow at YRF Studios in Mumbai.

Both actors are filming a crucial prelude scene today before diving into the intense musical showdown. The electrifying, climactic dance number will be shot over seven days on a lavish set designed by acclaimed production designer Amrita Mahal Nakai. The completion of this song on July 7 will officially mark the wrap of ‘War 2’s’ nearly 18-month production journey, just 38 days before its theatrical release on August 14.

This high-energy number, composed by Pritam, was initially scheduled to be filmed in March but was cancelled following Hrithik’s leg injury during rehearsals. Now recovered, the actor dedicated June to intensive practice sessions, while Jr. NTR, too, has been rehearsing separately for over a week to ensure seamless performance. Choreographer duo Bosco-Caesar, who also worked on ‘War’s’ chart-topping songs ‘Ghungroo’ and ‘Jai Jai Shiv Shankar’. have been roped in once again to elevate the dance battle into a defining moment for the film. The makers are apparently sparing no expense to ensure this song becomes a cultural phenomenon.
