 Storyline

‘Udta Teer’ follows Bilal Ahmed (Ayushmann Khurrana), a Pakistani agent who arrives in India on a mission but loses his memory in an accident. Forgetting his real identity, he begins believing that he is an Indian and develops an unexpected sense of patriotism towards the country he was supposed to work against. As Bilal embraces his new identity, his actions turn him into a problem for his own side. Yamini (Sara Ali Khan), who becomes an important part of his life in India, joins him on this chaotic journey, while Burman (Rahul Bose), his boss, struggles to deal with his unexpected transformation.  Meanwhile, Niyazi (Ram Kapoor), General Mir (Gulshan Grover) and Azhar Maqsood (Mukul Dev) add to the unfolding drama. Packed with mistaken identities, political satire and hilarious situations, the film takes audiences on a chaotic ride. Will Bilal get his memory back? And what happens when he discovers his real identity? That's something you'll find out only if you watch the film.

Acting

Ayushmann Khurrana has nailed every little bit of his performance. He understands the film's comic rhythm beautifully and carries the madness of the story with confidence. His expressions, dialogue delivery and ability to find humour in the smallest moments make him the perfect fit for this role.

Mukul Dev is fabulous as well. This is the kind of tribute an actor deserves, giving audiences another opportunity to celebrate his talent and screen presence. Rahul Bose is equally brilliant, stealing the show with his reactions and impeccable comic timing. These two deserve a special shout-out for making several moments memorable. Sara Ali Khan looks pretty and stunning, doing justice to the role given to her. Ram Kapoor and Gulshan Grover add to the comedy, while Brijendra Kala is funny as always. The supporting cast complements the lead actors well, with everyone contributing to the film's entertaining atmosphere.

Direction

Akash A Kaushik has done a tremendous job as a director. We loved ‘Dhurandhar’, but ‘Udta Teer’ showcases a different side of his imagination. Shot before ‘Dhurandhar’, the film brings together an unusual premise and a series of entertaining situations that are executed with confidence.

The screenplay maintains its energy, while even the accents feel polished and rooted in the film's world. Kaushik knows how to build humour through character interactions, reactions and unexpected situations. His imagination and execution make this chaotic story work as an entertaining theatrical experience.

Dialogues

Dialogues and one-liners are the backbone of ‘Udta Teer’. The film is packed with witty exchanges, meta jokes and unexpected punchlines that keep you laughing throughout. The humour does not depend on the writing alone; the actors' delivery and reactions make the jokes land even better.

Rahul Bose and Mukul Dev deserve special mention for their comic timing. Their performances elevate the writing, and several scenes become funnier because of their expressions alone.

Music

The music adds another layer of entertainment to the film. From fun and romantic numbers to patriotic tracks, ‘Udta Teer’ has every kind of tadka. The songs contribute to the film's varied moods, blending seamlessly with its mix of comedy, action and emotion. The ‘Emiway Bantai’ song towards the end is another exciting highlight. The music complements the film's celebratory mood and adds to its overall entertainment value.

Overall

If you love patriotic films, give this one a watch for a completely different flavour of entertainment. Take your family along for a fun-filled theatrical experience. A must-watch!
