Harleen Sethi is winning attention for her performance as Shreya in Netflix’s Shaque: Trust No One, but the actor still holds a special place in the hearts of audiences as Sameera from Broken But Beautiful. While the romantic drama brought her immense love and recognition, Harleen now wants people to appreciate the many other characters she has played over the years.

In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, the actor opened up about being remembered for one particular role and her wish to be recognised for her other performances. She acknowledged that some characters stay with an actor forever, but hopes her journey will not be defined by just one of them.

“Every actor has one or a few characters in their life that become really special and receive a lot of attention. For me, it is Sameera from Broken But Beautiful. I know the amount of love I still get for that character, and it is overwhelming. But I want people to see my other characters as well. I have done a lot of other characters, and I really want people to see me,” Harleen said.

The actor also believes she has explored some memorable roles despite spending only a few years in the industry. “Even though I have not been in the industry for many years, I feel that I have done quite good characters in just a few years. I want people to appreciate that too,” she added.

From playing Nimrat in Kohrra to taking on Shreya in Shaque: Trust No One, Harleen has continued to explore different sides of her craft. While Sameera remains a defining character in her career, the actor hopes audiences will also recognise the work she has done since then.
