Amazon Studios unveiled the first full length trailer of Nicole Kidman’s and Javier Bardem’s upcoming film Being the Ricardos. Nicole plays Lucille Ball while Bardem plays her husband Desi Arnaz in the feature.
The trailer explores the marital troubles of the real-life couple behind the titular sitcom pair and depicts one of the most pivotal moments from the pair’s life when Lucille was investigated by the CBI to have alleged ties with the Communist Party. In the trailer, Bardem’s Arnaz assures his wife and says, “We’ve been through worse than this,” to this Nicole replies in characteristic humour of Lucille and says, “We have?”
