Cruella Trailer: Emma Stone and Emma Thompson go head-to-head in a formidable face-off based on fashion and mischief

Disney has unleashed a brand new full-length trailer and poster for their upcoming live-action film Cruella starring Academy Award winners Emma Stone and Emma Thompson in the lead. The film directed by Craig Gillespie looks at an origin story of one of Disney’s most beloved and iconic villains.

The trailer has Stone’s Estella in a head-to-head face off with Thompson’s Baroness von Hellman, the antagonist at fault who turned the former into a most formidable villain, Cruella de Vil. Set in the 1970s the trailer shows Stone turning towards evil after the Baroness rubs her the wrong way. Estella is a creative grifter who is determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She is befriended by a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the streets.
