The Batman director Matt Reeves shares official logo, promises more details of film will be unveiled at DC FanDome event

The upcoming American superhero film The Batman has curated the right amount of anticipation and excitement among the audience ever since its announcement. With the handsome and talented Robert Pattinson playing the titular role, avid DC Comic fans are waiting with bated breath for yet another engaging chapter to be told on the silver screen. Now, as the shoot is about to resume after the lockdown, director Matt Reeves unveiled the official logo on his Twitter account. 

Matt, in his tweet, revealed that more of The Batman will be unveiled at the upcoming DC FanDome on August 22, 2020. "Excited to share the very first look at our official #TheBatman logo, and some very cool additional #DCFanDome artwork by the amazing @jimlee — see more of #TheBatman at the #DCFanDome global event in the Hall of Heroes this Saturday, 8/22! #TheBatman #DCFanDome #ForTheFans," he tweeted.

Soon after the logo was unveiled, fans couldn't hold back their excitement. 

Speaking of The Batman, Robert will play the titular role of Batman aka Bruce Wayne while Zoe Kravitz has been cast as Selina Kyle or Catwoman. Andy Serkis is Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano is Edward Nashto aka The Riddler and Jeffrey Wright will be seen as Commissioner Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Real and Colin Farrell as The Penguin.

The Batman is said to release in theatres on June 25, 2021.
