Disney’s D23 Expo had a slew of surprises that had all the fans reeling with excitement. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Kit Harington will play Dane Whitman, aka the Black Knight in the upcoming superhero film The Eternals. Not only this, Richard Madden who played Harington’s brother in the HBO series Game of Thrones will also feature in the film and will play the role of Ikaris in The Eternals.
At D23 Expo, Feige also confirmed that Gemma Chan will play Sersi in the film. The Eternals will also star Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, and Lia McHugh as Sprite. All the cast members were present at D23 barring Harington.
