Social media is a troll’s paradise. You can say whatever you feel and more often than not we get to read really nasty, scathing, sarcastic and negative comments on social media. Everyone is trying to pull down someone or the other and the most number of barbed wires are reserved for celebrities. So when Malaika Arora posted an unedited image from a photo shoot today that showed her underarms all hell broke loose. She received severe backlash for showcasing armpit hair from a section of the netizens. However, there were quite a few people who stood by her and applauded her for going bold and taking a courageous stand.
Malaika shared the picture on her Instagram handle today and it showcases her in a bodysuit looking straight at the camera holding all her hair high up in a pony. The picture showed a bit of armpit hair and that was all the fuss on the internet about today. Trolls shared such nasty comments like, “At least shave ur armpits, that’s fucking disgusting” to “underarms toh wax kar leti”. However, there were quite a few people who appreciated the act and wrote, “being real is the new sexy.”

This is not the first time a celebrity has been trolled for her armpit. Previously, Priyanka Chopra was also trolled for a photoshoot where people said her armpits were photoshopped but the actress shut them like a boss by posting a natural photo without filters and showed them that the previous photo wasn’t tampered with.
