“He looks like a Chinese Kareena”: Saif’s description of Taimur’s looks is hilarious!

In between gushing over your baby and thanking God for blessing you with the munchkins, parents love having long-winded arguments about Who Baby Takes After. The Kapoor-Khans are no different. A video has surfaced which shows daddy Saif Ali Khan discussing just who little Taimur looks like, whether he is more Kapoor or more Pataudi. The jury is apparently still out on that one!

Sounding happily confused about this very important issue, Saif is heard saying that Kareena tells him that Taimur looks like him (Saif) but he himself is pretty sure that the tot resembles Bebo.

But wait, he’s actually still confused… “I cannot tell,” he admits, “Some days he looks like me and some days he looks like her. He looks like a Chinese her.” A Chinese Kareena? Now that’s a new one! He amends that to, “Not Chinese, let’s say Mongol.” And then laughs, saying Mongol sounds like he is missing a chromosome, so “Let’s say Timurid”. Phew, he may or may not be pulled up for that slightly insensitive sounding ‘Mongol’ joke, but he sure has the rest of us whipping out our phones to check out the meaning of Timurid.

Meanwhile mommy, needless to say, has her own take on the topic of Taimur’s inherited looks. On a talk show, she spoke about how she personally feels Taimur is a perfect mix of Saif and her – with a little more of her! She believes her tot is more of a Kapoor, that in fact, he looks exactly like her dad, Randhir Kapoor, whom she herself resembles. And then there are his “gorgeous sea blue eyes which he has taken from my grandfather and Lolo and that is amazing,” she gushes, having the last word on the subject.

Either way, Taimur has a great gene pool to choose from, and he’s quite the pro when it comes to the limelight already. Whether snapped at airports, or outside his grandma Sharmila Tagore’s Mumbai home recently, it’s almost startling to see the way the tot stares directly into the camera.

Besides good looks, fame is inherent in his genes too, from both the Kapoors and the Pataudis!
