A Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks production, Baahubali: Crown of Blood is produced by visionary S.S. Rajamouli, Sharad Devarajan &Shobu Yarlagadda, directed and produced by  Jeevan J. Kang & Navin John, the epic saga promises to take the audiences into an animated world of Baahubali to experience an untold story of epic adventure, brotherhood, betrayal, conflict and heroism. The power-packed action series is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar starting May 17.

SS Rajamouli at the press conference of Baahubali: Crown of Blood said, "It was very difficult for me to break away from the Baahubali films and give it to Sharad (Devarajan) and say to take it forward from there. It was a very hard decision. Initially, I even thought I wouldn't let him do anything with it without my consent but gradually I realised I had to let go."

He added, "But before letting go, I took them through the process of how we made Baahubali, what are the characters and their conflicts and if you have take it out and create any other story, the soul of the Baahubali films is very important and that's what resonated with the Indian audiences and across the world - I tried to explain them what that soul was. He (Sharad Devarajan) understood the characters and he grasped it and together with his team, they worked beautifully in creating the character, story arcs and came up with Baahubali: Crown of Blood. I am so happy with how it turned out."
