Karan Johar shocked everyone today when he took to social media to announce that he will not be returning with his popular chat show Koffee With Karan. Fans were left shocked and dismayed with the announcement as many have been waiting to see their favourite stars unravel themselves in a candid chat with KJo. However, now, Karan has allayed everyone’s disappointment to announce that he will once again be return with the show but this time not on television but on Disney+Hotstar.
Karan took to social media and wrote, “Koffee With Karan will not be returning…on TV! Because every great story needs a good twist, I’m delighted to announce that Season 7 of Koffee With Karan will stream exclusively on Disney+Hotstar! The biggest movie stars from across India will return to the couch to spill the beans while drinking some koffee. There will be games, there will be rumours put to rest – and there will be conversations that go deep, about love, loss and everything we’ve all been through over the last few years. Koffee With Karan, ‘streaming’ soon, only on Disney+Hotstar. Toodles!”
He captioned the post as, “EVEN MORE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE #HotstarSpecials #KoffeeWithKaran @disneyplushotstar.”
We’re sure the fans of KJo’s chat show will be extremely happy with the filmmaker’s post. It seems Karan has definitely brought a twist in the tale!
