'With a heavy heart', Karan Johar announces 'Koffee with Karan' will not be returning, says 'we've found our place in pop culture history'

Karan Johar has announced the end of his superhit talk show Koffee With Karan. 'With a heavy heart', the host informed his fans and followers that Koffee With Karan will not be returning for any more seasons. KJo penned an emotional note on his journey and said that the show has been a part of everyone's life for 6 seasons now but it won't be returning anymore. 

The filmmaker posted a note on social media that read, "Hello, Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now. I'd like to think we've made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning... For the unversed, Koffee with Karan is an Indian talk show on Star World India hosted by film producer, actor, and director Karan Johar. The show first aired on November 19, 2004. It was the second-longest-running talk show after Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan on Indian Hindi-language television. The show concluded its sixth and final season on March 17, 2019.

The show hosted guests like Kajol, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, amongst others.
