Rajkummar Rao is a rare gem gifted to the cinema. One of the busiest actors currently, Rajkummar is making sure to please his fans by doing diverse and interesting roles and films. Recently, he wrapped the shoot of his upcoming project, Badhaai Do co-starring Bhumi Pednekar. Now, the news is that Rajkummar is returning to Netflix with Vasan Bala's film titled Monica, O My Darling. No prize for guessing that the film has been titled after RD Burman's cabaret item number picturised on Helen in Caravan (1971).
For Monica, O My Darling, Rajkummar will be reuniting with Huma Qureshi. The two starred in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur series but didn't share the screen space. Apart from Rajkummar and Huma, Radhika Apte is said to be seen in the lead.

Monica, O My Darling will be Rajkummar's third film on Netflix after Ludo and The White Tiger. The film will mark Huma's second collaboration with the OTT giant after Leila. Well, speaking of Radhika, she has been a constant on Netflix for a long time.
Talking about Vasan, he directed the critically-acclaimed film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Monica, O My Darling is written by Sriram Raghavan and Yogesh Chandekar. The film is expected to go on floors next month.
