Rajkummar Rao dismisses rumours of turning down Dostana 2, says 'there’s no part I will decline'

Rajkummar Rao is riding high on the success of his recently released film Roohi. The actor wrapped the shoot of Badhaai Do with Bhumi Pednekar and will soon gear up to start other projects too. As he is celebrating the success of his horror-comedy film, Rajkummar spoke to a leading daily and dismissed rumours of declining Dostana 2. It was rumoured that the actor wasn't confident essaying a gay character on-screen. 

Reacting to the rumour, a surprised Rajkummar asked, "Someone said I didn’t want to play a gay character?" He then added, "I would love to play all kinds of roles and be part of different stories. I have played a goofball, a terrorist, a lawyer and so on. There’s no part I will decline. Right now, I am so excited about my line-up of movies.”

Dostana 2 is directed by Collin D'Cunha and stars Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and newcomer Lakshya in the lead roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The release date of Dostana 2 is yet to be announced.
