Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur's upcoming film Sadak 2 is just a few days away from its digital release. The trailer of the romantic thriller released on August 12, 2020. Ahead of its release on Disney+Hotstar on August 28, 2020, the makers shared a song from Sadak 2. Titled Ishq Kamaal, the romantic number is sung by Javed Ali and composed by Suniljeet. The lyrics are written by Suniljeet and Shalu Vaish.
Ishq Kamaal opens to a scene from Sadak (1991) featuring Pooja and Sanjay. Transporting the viewers to the current time while drawing a comparison between then and now, the song holds a mirror to Alia and Aditya's sweet love story. Sanjay, who has lost the love of his life-Pooja, recalls moments spent with her and gets emotional on watching the young couple enjoy each other's company.
Sadak 2 revolves around Ravi, Aryaa and Vishal who are on the sadak to discovering dark secrets of a menacing Godman while avenging the loss of a dear one. In pursuit of justice, Aryaa, Ravi and Vishal endanger their lives when the Godman makes up his mind to kill the young girl for crossing his path.
The film also stars Gulshan Grover, Jisshu Sengupta, Priyanka Bose and Akshay Anand. It is written by Mahesh and Suhrita Sengupta. The additional dialogues are by Pushpdeep Bhardwaj. It is produced by Mukesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films.
