Anushka Sharma shares the teaser of her upcoming web series on Amazon Prime Video; is it titled 'Jamuna Paar'?

PeepingMoon.com, in an exclusive piece, dated July 12, 2019, informed its readers that Anushka Sharma has collaborated with the digital giant Amazon Prime Originals for a crime-thriller web series titled Jamuna Paar. The Bollywood actress who has turned into a successful producer under her home banner Clean Slate Films with her brother Karnesh Sharma, has bankrolled the project that is a scathing commentary of modern-day Indian society and politics. Now, nine months post the exclusive story, Anushka, today, on Instagram, dropped in a teaser of a web show that resembles the details of Jamuna Paar given by sources.  

In the teaser, we can hear a voiceover suggesting a complete change in the law making order in the country due to the invasion of 'certain beings' who have the potential to make life hell. The video indicated that the series will be a gut-wrenching tale of violence. " , , ," wrote Anushka while sharing the teaser. However, the actress hasn't disclosed the name of the web series yet.

According to PeepingMoon sources, Jamuna Paar stars Gul Panag, Jaideep Ahlawat Neeraj Kabi, Abhishek Banerjee, Jagjeet Sandhu and Swastika Mukherjee. Sudip Sharma, who wrote Anushka's maiden production film NH10, has created the show that is based in Delhi. Prosit Roy, the director of Pari has helmed Jamuna Paar with Avinash Arun. As per our sources, the web show is based on Tarun Tejpal's novel, The Story of My Assassins which revolves around actual events and follows a journalist who decides to investigate five hit-men hired to kill him.
