Everyone is waiting with bated breath for Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan starrer Sacred Games 2. The second season is expected to unravel a series of twists and turns from new players and Ganesh Gaitonde. Today, Netflix unveiled a new teaser of Sacred Games 2 where we get to hear Nawazuddin’s Ganesh Gaitonde telling Saif’s Sartaj Singh, “Koshish kar le bacha le apne sheher ko. Par is baar Trivedi bhi nahi bachega. (Try and save your city, but this this time even Trivedi won't survive)."
The video was shared with the caption, “Everything we knew was a lie! #SacredGames2 premieres 15 August.” The new series is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan and is slated to release on August 15. Apparently, in the second season Saif embarks on a journey of self-discovery, tries to solve the mystery of Gaitonde’s third father, and attempts to save his failed marriage while trying to save Mumbai from an impending massacre.
Sacred Games 2 is based on the novel written by Vikram Chandra and also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Radhika Apte, Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey and Shahid Khan.
