Kiara Advani, during her appearance on Anaita Shroff Adjania-hosted Voot's Feet Up With The Stars, revealed how she was trolled on social media for the makeup she applied for an event, where her fuller cheeks sparked off the rumour of her undertaking botox treatment. Putting an end to the rumours, Kiara said owing to excessive makeup and a cosmetic faux pax, it gave an illusion of botox.
"I remember it was Monisha Jaising and Shweta Nanda's clothing line launch. I dressed up and I did my own make-up, as I thought I am good at it. But maybe I did a bit too much that day. In all the pictures that came out, I had these two dollops on my cheeks. I do have high cheekbones, so I guess that's what it was. Or maybe it was the highlighter," Kiara told Anaita.

Speaking about facing the brunt of trolls for the first time, Kiara said, "When I was looking at it, I felt really bad. I did my own make-up, so damn, they hated it! I also thought that's so mean. Honestly, I almost believed that some sh*t happened to my face and something has changed. Then, I was like, maybe I have put on a little bit of weight or it was probably just the make-up or whatever."
Workwise, Kiara will be seen with Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh which will release on June 21. Kiara is currently shooting with Sidharth Malhotra in Chandigarh for Shershaah and has begun filming for Laaxmi Bomb co-starring Akshay Kumar.
