Rajshri is being trolled on social media and a YouTube search with her name would land you on a page with even a video titled as 'hot actress with mangalsutra'.

The actress is pretty unfazed though. She says she has stopped taking care of such trolling since this is not for the first time she's facing criticism of this kind. Rajshri was part of Angry Indian Goddesses (2015). She has also acted in S Durga (2017), which was originally titled as Sexy Durga. The actress reveals that she even got death and acid attack threats for her performance in the latter. However, Rajshri agrees that she was a little nervous was taking off her blouse on the camera.

She talked to a leading magazine about the entire hullabaloo around her scene and said, "Everything goes viral these days, and only for these reasons. It's a phase that'll go away, people will forget. I've moved on. For every hate mail, I'm getting 15-20 appreciative messages".

"We need to learn to talk to ignore, forgive and forget. You can't scream on social media all the time"

She added, "Our society's mindset will not change with a complaint. It's a disease, and you need to work towards it at a ground level, because reel life activism stays only in reel".

Rajshri is also a pivotal part of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's next, Manto, directed by Nandita Das. She plays the character of writer Ishmat Chugtai, who's best known for writing Lihaaf, a popular and controversial Urdu short story.
