2017 has been one eventful year in the world of all-things-fashion. From fashion highs to fashion lows, we have witnessed it all. From Priyanka Chopra taking the world by a storm with her Met Gala appearance to Manushi Chillar breaking the internet, with her crowning glory; this has without a doubt been one hell of a memorable year. Just in case you’ve missed out on all the highlights and breakthrough moments of 2017, we’ve rounded up a quick list of unforgettable fashion moments, as we get ready to enter 2018. Yes, if it’s been talked about, it’s going to be there on this list!

Wedding Of The Year
This category needs no guessing. The year ended with a magical bang, thanks to country’s favorite couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. Team Virushka stole our heart and took our breath away with their beautiful and dreamy Tuscany wedding.
The couple who got married in a hush-hush Tuscany wedding, had not just one but two grand receptions. From couple goals to fashion goals, this couple gave us all. Plus, we can’t seem to get over the way Virat looks at Anushka, in almost every picture. Do such men even exist? Or are we ladies just looking in the wrong direction?
A-list Guests
One cannot talk about the Virushka reception without giving a huge shout-out to celebs who stole the show at their Mumbai reception. The star-studded reception witnessed the crème de la crème of the industry. With pretty much all of them putting their fashion foot- forward, the guests who stole the show, at least for us, were Bhumi, Kangana, Sridevi and the royal star-kid Ibrahim. Though all the ladies looked incredibly beautiful, our personal favorite was the gorgeous Bhumi Pednekar. Doesn’t she look like a vision in white? From her remarkable weight loss transformation to her on-point sartorial moments, looks like our new year resolution has to be stepping into Bhumi’s shoes, cause she’s clearly do something right, which we aren’t!
Cannes red carpet
Our A-list divas have had one uh-mazing year at the Cannes red-carpet. From Aishwarya Rai being hailed as the new real-life Cinderella to Deepika making her first red-carpet appearance at Cannes, our B-town divas are ruling the world, one red-carpet at a time! You go, girl!
Ramp Shows
One cannot talk about fashion, without mentioning where it all started – The runway, of course! The style savant Sonam Kapoor showed us how it’s done at the Ralph and Russo show. The actress was seen dripping in diamonds as she strutted down the runway. Kareena, on the other hand, was seen channeling her inner diva as she walked the ramp for her favorite designer Manish Malhotra. If you thought only our leading ladies were ruling the ramp, Shah Rukh Khan, and Shahid Kapoor are here to prove you wrong!
Iconic Moments
We had not one but two iconic moments which will be locked forever in our fashion archives. Manushi Chillar and Priyanka Chopra were India’s crowning glory, literally. While Manushi won the title of Miss World after 17 long years, Priyanka was the highlight at Met Gala. Both these ladies without a doubt made our country proud. Woot! Woot!
Diwali Dhamaka
2017 witnessed some of the most fashion-forward moments, but, it gave us some serious desi sartorial moments, as well. Leave it to our A-listers who gave some serious desi drama at the back-to-back Diwali bashes, held by the who’s who of the industry. A moment of silence for our A-list power couples who showed us how to slay it in style, while keeping the better half in mind.
While our favorite jodis were ‘werking’ their desi ensembles like a boss, our single Tinseltownies weren’t far behind. From KJo acing just about everything he slides into to Janhvi stunning the world in her Manish Malhotra ensemble, their on-point traditional outfits were all that we dreamt off, all through late October. No, we aren’t kidding!
Airport Dairies
Yes, we love our red-carpets but nothing can beat the unconditional love we and our B-town celebs have for the airport. Yes, our terminals have turned into the seasons ‘IT’ runway. Gone are the days where you’d spot them in their comfy pajama’s, in fact, airport dairies have actually become a ‘thing’. And, none of us seem to be complaining!

Star Kids
It was a year filled our favorite stars and their star-kids! From Ananya Panday making her Le Ball appearance, along with Reese Witherspoon’s daughter to Ahaan Panday throwing a grandeur red-carpet birthday bash, these star-kids were the talk of the town, all through the year.
Red Carpet
We saw a slew of A-listers bring all kinds of glitz, glam and a whole lot of drama on the red-carpet. While Sonam Kapoor stole the show in her dreamy Atelier Zuhra gown at the Lux Golden Rose Awards, Katrina Kaif went all out in her bold risqué ensemble.
Gym Rats!
From Kareena Kapoor to Sara Ali Khan, everyone seems to have joined the fitness bandwagon. But the sultry siren who’s been killing us with her gym attires is none other than Malaika Arora. Brb, hitting the gym!
