Veteran actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood plans to direct his next film, Juror No. 2. The legal drama is produced by Warner Bros. and will star Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette.
Eastwood will direct the film from a script by Jonathan Abrams. He will also produce alongside Adam Goodman, Tim Moore, Jessica Meier and Matt Skiena. Executive producers are Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell.
Juror No.2 follows a murder trial where a juror (Hoult) realizes that he may have caused the victim’s death and faces the dilemma of manipulating the jury to save himself or turn himself in. Collette will play the prosecutor.
The film will go on floors in June after Eastwood’s 93rd birthday on May 31.
