Apple Studios, Joseph Kosinski & Jerry Bruckheimer have found their race car driver to star in their Formula One film. Damson Idris joins Brad Pitt in the yet-untitled film.

Kosinski will direct & produce with Jerry Bruckheimer & Chad Oman, Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton through his Dawn Apollo banner & Plan B, Penni Thow to serve as exec producer.

Damson has been roped in after several auditions and driving tests. The film features Pitt as a racer who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver and race with him in his final stake to glory.
