Harry Potter and his friends will Return To Hogwarts on New Year for a special purpose. HBO has greenlit a reunion event with the cast of the film. The celebration will take place as the first film of the Harry Potter franchise completed 20 years in 2021. The much-anticipated event will go live on HBO on January 1, 2022. It is titled Return to Hogwarts. Now, as the reunion date is coming closer, the cast got an invitation from Hogwarts in the latest promo shared by the channel.
The exciting promo begins with the Hogwarts clock tower. A glimpse of the Daily Prophet has been shared. The headline read, "Hogwarts Welcomes Back Alumni". The cast gears up to return to Hogwarts after receiving invitations. Towards the end of the promo, Emma Watson a.k.a Hermione makes an appearance as she walks down Platform 9 ¾ while the Hogwarts Express awaits its passengers. Her face wasn't revealed.
Return to Hogwarts event will be graced by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, Chris Columbus, and many more.
While fans of the Harry Potter franchise are excited to watch the reunion, they are disappointed that J. K. Rowling hasn't been invited. For the unversed, the film franchise was based on her novels.
