The much-awaited fourth installment of Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick 4 has officially started production. The announcement of the film going on floors was made by the Hollywood Studio Lionsgate in a post on Twitter.
The official handle of the studio tweeted, “Anybody got a pencil sharpener? 'John Wick: Chapter 4' is now in production.” Reeves reprises his titular role while filmmaker Chad Stahelski is back in the director’s chair calling the shots.

John Wick 4 also stars Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgard and Hiroyuki Sanada. Anderson also took to social media to announce the production start of the film. He wrote on Instagram , “So it begins. Swipe right to see a sneak peek of Keanu and I training! @lionsgate @thunderroadpictures #JW4 #Summer2022.”
Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Lawrence Fishburne are also returning for the fourth installment of the franchise. The film will be produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Stahelski. Reeves will executive produce along with Louise Rosner. The movie will be released worldwide in May 2022.
