The industry-wide consultation on new filming protocols and insurance issues is due to close on 15 May. For the unversed, all physical film and TV production has been shut down since in the country since March 23. The move will bring a relief to the entertainment industry, and bring a boost to the UK economy.

The cast members will be required to "maintain a two-metre distance from others, and wash their hands regularly." As reported in the deadline.com, a DCMS spokeswoman said, “The government is working closely with the screen sector to understand how different types of productions can comply with social distancing guidelines, and give confidence to people in the TV and film industries that there are safe ways in which they can return to work."
