Prince Harry and Meghan Markle secretly deliver food parcels to chronic ill patients in the US during Coronavirus crisis

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle handed out meals to sick people in Los Angeles amid the Coronavirus lockdown. It was their first known public activity ever since they moved to California after stepping down as senior royals on March 31. The couple had first volunteered with Project Angel Food on Sunday, delivering food to people living with chronic illnesses. Pictures of the couple out on delivery flooded the internet and soon went viral.

An international daily, reported Project Angel Food’s Communications manager Anne-Marie Williams said, “They were here Easter Sunday, and then they surprised us on Wednesday. They handed out to 20 of our clients, and they rocked their worlds.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to California last month after they quit the royal life and has kept a low profile.

They have announced to launch a wide-ranging non-profit organization in the US named Archewell that will focus on mental health, education and wellbeing. However, keeping the Coronavirus pandemic in mind they have refrained from sharing details about the organization and will make an announcement when the time is right.

Project Angel Food delivers medically tailored food to chronically ill people and is the first charity supported by the couple since they moved to the US. Harry and Meghan distributed food parcels wearing masks and keeping their faces covered that meant people did not realize their true identity.
