Lilly Singh drops the fist look poster of her upcoming show ‘A Little Late With Lilly Singh’

Lilly Singh has unveiled the first poster for her upcoming NBC show A Little Late With Lilly Singh. The show will premiere on September 16 at its 1:35 am time slot. NBC had revealed in March that it had tapped Lilly to host a late-night show that would replace the Last Call With Carson Daly, which had come to an end after running for 17 long years.

Lilly shared the first look poster of the show on her Instagram account and captioned it, “MAKE SPACE IN YOUR TIME LINE BECAUSE @LATEWITHLILLY IS BREAKING THROUGH. Show socials are officially up! Follow up! Tell your friends to follow. Unblock your parents for a sec and tell them to follow. I need your pets account following ASAP. Your finsta... that too. Errrrbodyyyyyy click that follow button so the latest and greatest. #LateWithLilly.”

The poster has the caption, “Breaking the norm” and promises to be a different affair as most late-night shows are dominated by white male presenters. The show will be synonymous to Lilly’s brand of honest and thought-provoking comedy. Lilly’s show has been given a 96-episode first season order. New episodes will air Monday through Thursday while rerun of the show will air on Fridays.

Talking about the show, Lilly had earlier said, “This show is not just going to be me doing what I do on YouTube and now putting it on NBC. It's going to be a different skill set and a different method of storytelling. I want it to feel very relatable and personable, but I don't think it's going to feel like YouTube.”Lilly is also the executive producer on the show alongside John Irwin whereas Aliyah Silverstein has signed on as showrunner.
