Hotel Mumbai: Anupam Kher’s and Dev Patel’s film brings back the horror of the 26/11 terrorist attack in the gripping trailer

The 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks are probably the most harrowing terrorist attacks in India of recent times. The simultaneous terrorist attacks of 2008 that unfolded in India’s financial and the most populous and busiest cities of the country has been aptly captured in a film called Hotel Mumbai. The trailer of the film that tells the true story of the most gripping and bone-chilling terrorist attacks is out now.

The 3-minute 4-seconds trailer recounts the vivid details of the siege that occurred in Mumbai’s famous Taj Hotel when a group of terrorists belonging to the Pakistani terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba held the elites of around the world hostage.

The film stars Anupam Kher, Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi and Jason Issacs in the lead roles. The trailer shows Anupam as renowned chef Hemant Oberoi and Dev as a waiter who chooses to risk their lives to ensure that their guests are safe in the face of mortal peril and danger. The trailer will give you goosebumps for the way it depicts the true events.

The film is directed by Australian director Anthony Maras and is based on the 2009 documentary Surviving Mumbai. The film is slated to hit the screens this March.
