Akshay Kumar’s production sends ₹25 crore legal notice to Paresh Rawal over ‘Hera Pheri 3’ exit

Bollywood's most popular and favorite comedy franchise 'Hera Pheri' is once again embroiled in controversies. Actor Paresh Rawal, who played the famous character of Baburao in the franchise, recently announced that he is no longer a part of 'Hera Pheri 3'. His decision shocked the audience and fans. But now this matter is not limited to rumors only, but has taken a legal turn.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, actor Akshay Kumar's production company Cape of Good Films has sent a legal notice of 25 crores to Paresh Rawal. The production house alleges that Paresh Rawal left the film after signing the contract and starting the shooting, which falls under the category of unprofessional behavior.

The report also states that Paresh Rawal was being paid three times more than his usual fee for this film. The production says, "If he did not want to complete the film, he should have refused before signing the contract. It is unethical to leave the film after taking the advance and investing heavily in the shooting." The production house further said that now the time has come when rules like Hollywood should be implemented in Bollywood, where producers take strict action against artists who break the contract.

On the other hand, Paresh Rawal has clarified on social media that he has not left the film due to creative differences. He wrote on Twitter, "I would like to clarify that my decision to stay away from 'Hera Pheri 3' is not due to any creative differences. My respect and trust for director Priyadarshan is unwavering." The 'Hera Pheri' franchise has been one of the most successful and loved comedy films of Bollywood. The first two parts received immense love from the audience and now the expectations from the third part are equally high. But this new controversy has definitely created uncertainty about the film.
