There’s mystery in the forest, folklore in the air and now, there’s romance at the heart of Vvaan. “Samjho Na”, the first song from the much-awaited film, is finally out, bringing Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah’s first-ever on-screen pairing into focus and opening up a whole new side of the world audiences first seen in the teaser.
After teasing viewers with its supernatural world and leaving them wondering what awaits inside Vvaan, the song shifts gears beautifully. “Samjho Na” brings the spotlight onto the relationship between its two leads, giving audiences their first proper look at the romantic equation that sits within the larger folklore-fantasy adventure. And with Sidharth and Tamannaah sharing the screen for the first time, there is an undeniable freshness to the pairing.
Under the music label of Zee Music, the song also gives Vvaan a new emotional vibe. Amid the mystery, adventure and fantastical world that surrounds them, Sidharth and Tamannaah’s characters bring a sense of warmth and romance to the story. “Samjho Na” is that rare first glimpse that makes you curious not just about the world these characters inhabit, but about the two people at its centre.
Adding to the mood is a musical team that brings together some of Hindi cinema’s familiar voices and talents. Tanishk Bagchi has composed and produced the track, with Jubin Nautiyal and Suvarna Tiwari lending their vocals and Manoj Muntashir on lyrics. Krishna Kishor has handled additional live production, while Eric Pillai has mixed and mastered the song, with Michael Edwin Pillai as assistant mix engineer.
