Indra Kumar’s ensemble comedy ‘Dhamaal 4’ has added a new face to its star-studded cast. PeepingMoon.com has exclusively learned that ‘Jannat 2’ and ‘Rustom’ actress Esha Gupta has been roped in to play Ajay Devgn’s love interest in this highly-anticipated fourth installment of the ‘Dhamaal’ franchise.
Gupta will reprise the character she briefly portrayed in a cameo appearance in ‘Total Dhamaal’ (2019). She joins previously announced female leads Sanjeeda Shaikh and Anjali Anand in a small but significant role in the storyline. The core cast members from ‘Total Dhamaal’ — Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, and Vijay Patkar — are all set to return, continuing their comic escapades in this next chapter. Ravi Kishan and Upendra Limaye are the new additions.
‘Dhamaal 4’ went on floors in March and is expected to be wrapped up by the end of June, targeting a theatrical release in early 2026. The final schedule is set to commence on May 15 in Mumbai, focusing on the film’s climax and action sequences, including a high-octane car chase and an elaborate fight scene. A large-scale set, designed to resemble rugged mountainous terrain and dense jungle, is said to be currently under construction to stage the adventurous climax.
‘Dhamaal 4’ will mark the second full-fledged collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Esha Gupta following their forgettable Milan Luthria actioner, ‘Baadshaho’ (2017). It also marks Gupta’s return to mainstream theatrical films after a long hiatus. Her last notable release was ‘One Day: Justice Delivered’ in 2019, and more recently, she was seen in Prakash Jha and Bobby Deol’s popular web series ‘Aashram.’
