Matthew posted a stunning photo of himself and his wife on Twiiter and later posted the same picture on Instagram with the American and UK flag emojis as the caption. Angela and Mathew had got engaged in Paris by the Eiffel Tower in November, 2016. In January 2016, the two had met for the first time at a celebration at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter where Angela used to work. They started dating in July 2016.
In March 2017, Mathew reportedly said that they haven’t started the nuptials as yet but the happy couple made their public appearance together at the premiere of Emma Watson’s Beauty and the Beast, a few months after their engagement. Lewis earned name and fame by portraying the character of Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film franchise. The films were based on the hugely popular books written by JK Rowling. His character undergoes an immense transformation in the series, right from being a cowardly boy who gets bullied by fellow students; he emerges as the leader around whom the entire school body revolves.
Longbottom’s character runs parallel to Harry Potter’s as he could have been the ‘chosen one’ but instead suffers much at the hands of the main antagonist Lord Voldemort’s supporters’ hands. Matthew owned the role and went on to star in all the eight films of the Harry Potter film franchise. He debuted on the big screen when he was just 12 years old and went on to land roles in Me Before You and Amazon series Ripper Street.
