PeepingMoon Exclusive: 'My first audition was for Ishq Vishk,' reveals Vidya Malavade

Vidya Malavade is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Ruslaan. Ahead of its release, the actress spoke to PeepingMoon in an exclusive interview. Talking to us, she revealed her first-ever audition. Vidya shared that she had auditioned for Ken Ghosh's Ishq Vishk (2003) and Sanjay Gadhvi's Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2002).

Vidya told us, "My very first audition was for Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai for Yash Raj Films. The late Sanjay Gadhvi, a dear friend, directed that film. No no no, before that, I had started modelling and I think Ken Ghosh's film Ishq Vishk, that I still remember there were two pages or something of lines I had to say and I was a model and I'm like, 'How am I going to do this?' I remember meeting Ken Ghosh and he told me, 'Just come and audition and I know you're doing modelling and stuff but voh kab tak chalega? You should become an actress, come and audition,' and I did. I said all of that with lots of whatever. I didn't get the part."

She added, "But it was quite nice and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed being that person for that amount of time. That's probably when the keeda started and the next one was Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai but I again didn't get it but it's okay. I made great friends."
