PeepingMoon Exclusive: Tiger Shroff and Sara Ali Khan to resume Jagan Shakti's film in May

Tiger Shroff has no time to rest. The young Bollywood star has been extremely busy since December, shooting continuously with a packed schedule that stretches all the way until July 2023. He began Jagan Shakti’s Mission Eagle in mid-December and then headed to Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (BMCM) in January. Although Tiger has already completed over half of his portions for the latter film, he will wrap it up by the end of April. Soon after finishing Zafar’s film with Akshay Kumar, the Baaghi star will get back to Mission Eagle.

Peepingmoon.com has learned that Tiger Shroff will resume Jagan Shakti’s film in May 2023. "During the first schedule, Tiger shot several hand-to-hand combat scenes on an open ground set built in London. However, he shot for only six days there and went on to shoot BMCM thereafter. Jagan’s film is set to start properly from May onward. The makers have finalized the shooting timelines and plan to resume filming on May 25," a source close to the project told us, adding that the action thriller will primarily be shot in the UK and Mumbai.

Sara Ali Khan, who plays the leading lady opposite Tiger in this film, is also expected to finish her present commitments before resuming Mission Eagle. The actress had also shot for a few days during the first UK schedule before moving on to other projects, such as Anurag Basu's anthology film, Metro...In Dino, and Dharmatic Entertainment's Amazon Prime film, Ae Watan...Mere Watan, in which she portrays the role of a real-life freedom fighter, Usha Mehta. Sara is currently shooting Homi Adajania’s Murder Mubarak, adapted from Anuja Chauhan’s best-selling book, Club You to Death. The film is a gripping whodunit set in Delhi and features an ensemble cast that includes Vijay Varma, Karishma Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor, among others. Sara will begin Mission Eagle only after finishing this Dinesh Vijan production.

Tiger Shroff, meanwhile, has Vikas Bahl’s Ganapath Part 1 slated to release on Dussehra weekend this year. The action spectacle, set in a post-pandemic, dystopian era, also stars Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Tiger’s BMCM is also expected to release sometime later this year, while Mission Eagle is slated for a 2024 release. The latter stars him in the role of a RAW agent.
