PeepingMoon Exclusive: Somy Ali wants to collaborate with Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas for her NGO

Former Bollywood actress Somy Ali recently sat down for an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com. Somy runs an NGO - No More Tears, and has been an active voice for violence against women. Talking about whom she would like to collaborate for her NGO she took the names of Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

During the interview, she applauded Aamir, Deepika and Priyanka and said, “I used to love Aamir Khan’s Satyameva Jayate. Perhaps, after Zeenat Aman he is one of the most intellectual individuals in Bollywood and I have the utmost respect for the films he makes. He is very selective and they have substance. I give kudos to Deepika Padukone because she spoke up on depression because there is such a stigma attached to mental health; and Priyana Chopra who I mean not only she is stunning and talented but the work she is doing for women and with UNICEF, I commend her.”

She further said, “So if you ask who my idols are then, they are not celebrities but celebrities who are using their platform and voice to do good and make the world a better place. Malala Yousafzai, who got shot in the head, look what she is doing for girls.”

Somy's full interview will go live on PeepingMoon's YouTube channel on March 12. Till then, take a sneak-peek into the conversation:
