Salman Khan's 2019 film Bharat was loved by the audience. But did you know that a cameo of Varun Dhawan was also shot in the film, which the audience never got to see? This mystery has now been revealed by the film's assistant director Ravi Chhabria.
Ravi Chhabria, who has also worked in films like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, recently said in an interview that Varun Dhawan's cameo was indeed shot, but it was removed in the final cut. This decision was made by producer Atul Agnihotri.
He said that this scene was when Salman's character is working in the oil fields of the Middle East. During this time, Varun Dhawan would enter and a light banter would be shown between the two stars. The highlight of the cameo was a fun arm-wrestling i.e. fist fight, which the audience would have enjoyed a lot. But ultimately this scene could not become a part of the film.
Varun Dhawan has been a big fan of Salman Khan and has said many times that Salman is his superstar. At the same time, Salman has also always been encouraging Varun. Varun's father David Dhawan and Salman's pair has given many superhit films like Judwaa and Biwi No. 1. This is the reason why the friendship of both the stars has always been a topic of discussion in the industry. Even though the audience could not see Salman and Varun together in Bharat, later both of them came together for the film Baby John. However, this film could not do much wonders at the box office.
