Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar have been named as the Most Beautiful Vegetarian Celebrities of 2021 by PETA India. Bhumi, who also champions the cause of environmental conservation and climate crisis through her campaign Climate Warrior became a vegetarian over a year ago as she said that eating meat just “didn’t feel good anymore,” has not looked back ever since. Her motivating factor in going vegan was her desire to show compassion and humbleness towards other species.
On the other hand, Akshay has always championed “health matters most” and relies solely on plant-based diet for protein requirements. He has been pretty vocal about speaking up for animals of all species, condemning cruelty on Twitter, and stating that he’s a “true-blue animal lover”.
