When I was born, my mum had Rs 2000 in her bank account- Masaba Gupta shares an excerpt from Neena Gupta's autobiography Sach Kahun Toh

Neena Gupta has faced hardships on the personal and professional front in the past. The National Award winner has never shied away from talking about her personal life and didn't hesitate while asking for work on social media. Neena has penned down her experiences in her tell-all autobiography titled Sach Kahun Toh. It will hit the stands on June 14. As Sach Kahun Toh is available for pre-order, Neena's daughter, Masaba Gupta, shared an excerpt from the autobiography on her Instagram account.

Masaba shared pictures of paragraphs where Neena opened up about the lack of funds in her bank account. When the veteran actress was due, she just had Rs. 2,000 in her account. However, Masaba was a C-section baby and Neena required around Rs. 10,000 for the operation. Fortunately, a tax reimbursement of Rs. 9,000 came to her a few days before delivering Masaba and saved the situation.

Sharing the pictures, Masaba wrote, "An excerpt from ‘Sach Kahun Toh’ by @neena_gupta: When I was born, my mum had Rs 2000/- in her bank account. A timely tax reimbursement would bump that number up to Rs 12,000/- and of course I was a C-section baby. As I read mom’s biography I learn so many things & the hardships she has had to endure. I work very hard every single day of my life & never ever let anyone not give me what I deserve only to make sure I can pay her back for bringing me into this world.....with interest!"
