So happy: Abhishek Bachchan tests negative for COVID-19; heads back home

Abhishek Bachchan, who was admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 on July 11, has now tested negative for the novel virus. The Breathe actor announced the news by sharing a photo of his hospital care board on Instagram. 

He captioned his care board photo as, "I TOLD YOU!!! Discharge plan: YES!! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. I’m so happy to be able to go home. #believe My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati Hospital for taking such good care of me and my family and helping us beat Covid-19. We couldn’t have done it without them. "

 The 44-year-old actor's post was flooded with "congratulations" messages.

The actor even left the hospital this afternoon. 

On August 5, Abhishek had shared the care board along with an encouragement note for himself. Picking out notes from it, Abhishek had then written, "Hospital day: 26. Discharge plan: NO! Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek had tested COVID positive on July 11. They were admitted to Nanavati Hospital immediately. A day later Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan were also tested positive. Soon, they were also hospitalised and got discharged on July 27. Big B dishcharged on August 2.
